It started with a friend who thought of me first.

Before giving birth, I shared my baby registry with a close friend. Without hesitation, she said, “I’m buying something for you — not the baby.”

Her words stopped me in my tracks. Simple, but filled with care. She followed through with thoughtful gifts that reminded me I was about to become a mother — not just someone’s mom, but a woman entering one of the biggest transformations of her life.

That single act of love stayed with me. It made me realize how rare it is for people to think of mothers first — even though we are the ones carrying, birthing, and healing.

That’s where the seed for NurtureHer™ was planted.

From One Act of Care to a Global Calling.

After experiencing how powerful that simple gesture was, I wanted to extend that same care to other mothers.

As I reflected on my journey, I thought about mothers back home in The Gambia — women who often don’t have access to postpartum essentials that support healing and comfort. I wanted to change that reality — to bridge love, access, and care across continents.

So I created NurtureHer™, a postpartum brand rooted in compassion, culture, and care. Each box is filled with healing essentials and gentle affirmations, designed to make mothers feel seen, supported, and celebrated through every stage of recovery.
